    This isn't error.
    It is just a warning.

    Why you want to run with administrator privileges?
    Technically should be ok to do so.
    But you see the massage, so you can take responsibility by your own.

    I'm not trying to run Unity.exe with admin privelleges, it's automatically elevated to that when i run it. It could be sthng with with my Win10 settings. Run as admin box is not checked on Unity.exe properties. So are you saying that there are no drawbacks for using Unity like this other than the annoying warning messages?

    I tried setting the UAC settings to "Always Notify", it didn't work out for me. So i think my options for the moment are:
    -Using the current build anyway and wait for the next build
    -Installing a previous build
    -Upgrading to Win11 bcs my brother has Win11 and he didn't get this problem

    Judging from the comments i see on internet, there's not much to worry about that warning message

    The admin privileges are for reason, to prevent users, or 3rd party applications do any changes, or harmful operations on the system.

    Unity shouldn't be any harmful, if considering Unity as trusted application. Unity has reputation to loose, if start doing some dogy stuff on system files.

    Yet I don't recall Unity been trying modifying my system files after being installed. So seems on that front pretty safe.
    But no application should be trusted with your life.

    Unless someone has something of concerns, or against, Unity should be pretty ok, to run with admin privileges.
    I wouldn't be trusting, however assets from asset store, or git repos, if you download them.

    It's not base Unity you have to be worried about. It's also bugs in code in your project (be it third party, or your own code). For instance, take this pretty "innocuous" piece of code:

    Code (csharp):
    1. [SerializeField]
    2. private string m_TempFolderName;
    3.
    4. void CleanupTempFiles()
    5. {
    6.      var tempPath = Path.GetTempPath() + "/" + m_TempFolderName;
    7.      Directory.Delete(tempPath, true);
    8. }
    Let's say you forget to set m_TempFolderName in the inspector and run this code. Path.GetTempPath() _may_ return "C:\Windows": https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.io.path.gettemppath?view=net-7.0&tabs=windows

    If Unity isn't running as admin, it will just fail. If Unity is running as admin, it will trash your system.

    yeah, but is there a working fix for the bug? So far i haven't seen one. It doesn't look very great on Unity's part to say"We made the new build of Unity with a serious bug and we don't take any responsibility if your project is lost and your system is trashed, also we don't have any intention of fixing this bug." Not a great practice of customer satisfaction if you ask me. The warning i get already tells me that it can trash my system. As Unity, either show users a solution or patch the bug.

    Sry i haven't noticed your answer at the other topic until you write about it here. I read all the forum topics about the issue. Only info i got from those topics is to changing the UAC settings to always notify and reboot which didn't work for me. Run as administrator box is unchecked both on Unity Hub abd Unity.exe. It was never checked in the first place. I also never right click and select run as adminitrator option. I did nothing to run those programs as administrator. I use Windows 10 Pro. I have only one windows user account and that is an admin account. If any of those infomations may help
