Unity iPhone enhancement pack

Situation now resolved and I have received v1.5, thanks to Stinkbot Support.

 

Can someone who has this AND the beta - what if any of the enhancement pack has been incorporated into the new version of Unity and what can only be found in the enhancement pack?

 

Enhancement pack = fail. Avoid at all costs.

 

Er, sorry to butt in, but I'm considering the EP right now...what makes you say that?

I'm not getting answers back from Stinkbot (I asked a question about his audio recording support and passing floats back and forth Prefs)...but dreamora seems to think if you get in the Google group, things are ok.

Can you clarify? Don't really want to go down this route if I'm going to be confronted with non-working/non-supported stuff.

The Enhancement pack is in a pretty rough state right now and I don't expect it ever to get cleaned up for a proper release.

I suggest you look at the Prime31 plugins.

This seems to be unsupported at this time, and no further updates. Perhaps this thread should be deleted so that people aren't ripped off?

 

i've got the zip file with all the stuff (I assume it is all the stuff) but the file is broken... and since than I don't have seen this guy and noebody answers my emails... so wasted 99$...

btw maybe someone can send me a working version (to I can send the broken files back as a proof that I really paid for this...)

Same situation...Stinkbot site should close since they are advertising a new version and delivering an old version.

Also requested access to http://groups.google.com/group/unity...hancement-pack with my registered mail adresss, but got no response.

Hi, I just purchased unity enhacement pack, and I now realize it seems quite outdated and unsupported.

I am waiting for authorization to join the google group.

In the meantime, i was trying to get compass values, here is what I tried :

and well nothing seems to happen (it get a nice 0 for lastTrueHeading, so first call has been done).
I also tried PlayerPrefs.SetString("sb_command", "startLocationManager"); in Start (don't think its needed for compass but why not) and it doesn't solve it.

Anything I did wrong or is it just the pack that is totally broken with Unity 3.1 + ios 4.2 ?
As you might guess I need to access the compass (and its 3 "tesla" x,y,z values too), no way to do it without objective C right ?

 

I bought this plugin, and it is useless completely. The plugin version is 1.1 and it is for iOS 2.0, can not get support at all, I paid $100 and get nothing.

Yes it is old and outdated, not a phishing site. If you had read the forums especially the last posts you would probably have realized this.

 

We've been trying to get access to the Google discussion group for about a week now so we can get the update. We get automated e-mails from FogBugz but no forum access. Anyone know what's up?

 

The Enhancement Pack seems to be abandoned.

 

Perhaps an administrator should modify the original post to highlight that fact. In the meantime, it seems users are throwing away money and I would be pretty ticked off if I hadn't read this thread and purchased the pack.

Admins? Come on, help your community out and archive this thread or edit and lock it.

Do not buy this enhancement pack. It will not work.




Search prime31 on these forums for all the plugins you need instead.

Does anyone knows how to know when the keyboard is closed (when the user clicks the "Done" button of the keyboard)?
