The game play in this sci-fi survival game is heavily influenced by classic side-scroller games, with separate fire and jump buttons on the right hand side and an on screen analog stick on the left. As you play through the game, the size of the horde will increase and new enemies will appear. The enemies will drop various items that will help you survive, like health packs and new weapons. The entire game takes place in one large stage with different areas that include multiple different environments and destructible obstacles. Boys will be boys, right? Forget it! Little Luke is bored. He's bored with his toys, he's bored with his playmates - but most of all he's bored with being nice. So swapping his romper suit for the trendiest leather jacket, shades and baseball cap that he can find in his size, he heads off the find some more grown-up kicks.
And you're along for the ride. Although you can't actually directly affect the little monster's movement as he makes his way through more than 15 levels of hazard-filled gampleay, you can - if you keep your wits about you - keep him out of trouble. But if you think this will be child's play, you'd better think again.

You, as the sub-conscious baby-sitter, must intervene and lay a trail that even a one-year-old could follow. Guiding him along a safe route to all directions of the screen, and collecting as many toys as possible. You can't directly control our little brat hero. Instead, you must use your finger to lay down guiding arrows that will point Luke in the right direction. These must be laid directly in his path. As soon as he walks over an arrow, he changes direction depending upon which way the arrow points. Along the way he can also pick up objects with which to make the going a little simpler. These include dynamite and even stop signs which can be used to halt traffic. Brat is a lot of fun!

It's DarkTonic's first game to be on the market, but we have some pretty legendary talent involved, including David Thiel on sound and the Creative Director who worked on some Need For Speed titles. So I finally got my first Unity game into the App Store, too. Release was bit delayed because of all the additional functionalites requested for the Flash version. First Flash version was released over a month ago, after that I picked up NGUI and reworked almost every GUI-element in the game (hover effect on buttons, cursor change to hand in Flash etc). It's a simple point'n'click game made as a launch material for a huge parking hall mined under a city center here in Finland. Texts are Finnish only, but you should be able to complete it without understanding a single world.

Creating the Flash-version was it's on quest, but finally got it together by creating missing functionalities in Flash (text blocks, input fields, XML-parsing). With iOS, iPhone5 and iOS6.0 madness accounted for a little slowdown, still don't know how it works on iPhone5. The Simulator is buggy, Unity can't switch to correct pixel-dimensions in editor and no-one has the device. Well, I actually have zero iOS devices myself at all, but have been able to test it on few. iPad mini on the way now, though.
