Survival Run with Bear Grylls - iOS Universal - Free​

We just released our endless runner Survival Run with Bear Grylls, in which you must help Bear Grylls escape from a Grizzly bear while running through 4 different environments. The game aims to expand on the Temple Run genre and future gameplay updates are already in the works.

The game is currently available for free on iOS as a universal build and we are getting ready to submit the Android build as well.

We used Unity 3.5.2 Pro, EZ GUI, and Prime31's StoreKit and GoKit tweening library. We also created our own plugins to support iCade, rate our app, download wallpapers, and display a UIWebView. We initially used the robust iTween library, but switched to GoKit since iTween was performaing a massive amount of allocations and therefore garbage collections in the game. Object pools are created for every single piece, which was a massive improvement from just doing Instantiate/Destroy all the time.

Tap the blue blocks on each floor to make them disappear, and try to leave as many red blocks as you can.
If you tap the red blocks or they drop to the floor, your life points decrease and when they reach zero it's game over.

The floors continue on infinitely. How many floors can you get past?
If you save up over 200 red blocks, you can get a chance to continue! Should you continue, surely you will be able to get to the next floor.

Great to see so many high quality games made with Unity3D in the App Store!

Gluddle vs The Supervision - yes, created with Unity3d - has recently been updated to version 2.0. We redesigned quite a lot, added new levels and game objects and improved performance on devices with 256 Mb of RAM. And we still love Unity!

The game uses an adaptive music system that not only responds to what is happening in the game, but even controls part of the gameplay. Many events, such as the flashing of the Supervision (0m11s in the video below), are timed to the beat of the music. This creates a musical flow that immerses the player in the game and allows for special tactics to be used, if the player pays a close ear. We implemented this using a musical timer that works like a metronome and allows game objects to obtain invoke delays from the music script. A gameplay video can be seen here (HD available):

This was a quick turnaround project, only 3 weeks to develop! I wanted to build a kid-friendly driving game for my 2 1/2 yr old son (and see how fast I could turnaround a game from beginning to end), so I took the vehicle system from Omega Drive (built on Edy's Vehicle Physics) and then wrapped it in Asset Store content.

Almost every small scene object is destructible, including fire hydrants that shoot up water when you hit them. The camera view is switchable so you can play either in either 3rd person or top down view.
