Unity Interactive tutorials do not work!

I have just started unity with thinking that I will learn how to work with unity by interactive tutorials, however, when I start the interactive tutorials when I complete a task that it asks me to do, it does not show up as completed and does not allow me to proceed further.

Any ideas on how this could be fixed?

 

Unity's Interactive Tutorials were verified to work with Unity 2017.3 and are far more prone to breaking with newer releases than most other tutorials. If you want to go through the Interactive Tutorials I recommend you download that release.

As of today (April 4, 2019) Unity tutorials work with Unity Editor 2018.3.

Please don't try them with Unity 2017.3 or 2017.4 LTS. They don't work.

 

Edit: Just finished verifying that the first entry in the series works on my end for Unity 2018.3. I don't have the time to go through all of them right now, but I'm betting if the first one works the others will work too.

Honestly, interactive tutorials are a cool marketing idea. But I'm not sure they are the best practical solution to learning. Try following along with a non interactive tutorial, and see how you go.

 

This. Unity already updated the tutorials once and the update didn't hold for more than one release before it broke again.
