Unity image and video capture in android app

Hi I am a complete newbie in Unity but my friend creating me an app in unity.
The app have a few real time camera effects and I would like to have an image and a video capture option on my app.
but my friend is unsure how to do this or even is it possible to do in unity.
Is unity has a built in option for enabling image and audio capture or I need to add a plugin to achieve my goal ? Please help me with my problem
