Unity hub will not open projects or let me return my license.

So suddenly Unity hub won't let me open any projects. I have uninstalled Hub and reinstalled. I have tried opening as an admin, I've tried returning the license....... nothing works. I'm seeing tons of people with this same problem but I have work projects that need to get done. What can I do to get hub working. I revoked licenses from the website and Hub still doesn't care. It says I'm signed in and have a license but every time I open a project the splash screen shows up and then 2 seconds later it closes and says I need to install hub or get a license. Need help ASAP.

 

I raised a support case and many days later they returned my activation - then I need to reactive them. The support engineer inferred it was my manual intervention that caused the issue...
