I'm having issues with Unity Hub not recognizing that there exists a license for the logged in user.
I've verified that the license is there by checking against Unity ID and double checked that it's the correct user logged in.
If I log in as the same user on a different computer, it works as intended and It finds the license.
I have made sure to start Unity Hub as administrator and given it access to the ProgramData folder.
The issue exists in both version 2.0.4 and 2.2.2.

I do not get any feedback from Unity Hub other than that there is no license for the logged in user.

Not having access to a license blocks the editor from starting, so I'd welcome any tips!
Any ideas on what more I can look into for troubleshoot this?

    1. Quit Unity Hub from the tray,
    2. Find "Unity_lic.ulf" in your computer and delete it,
    3. Restart Unity Hub and create a new licence.

    Thanks for the answer!

I've never managed to get any license through though, so there is no .ulf file.

I have now also tried to clean up the whole installation and redo if from scratch as per the instructions in this thread:
    https://forum.unity.com/threads/uni...e-machine-id-error.659962/page-2#post-5518861

Activating a .alf file manually also doesn't work as I get stuck on the "next" button being grayed out when I've entered my license key. It doesn't even give an error message for why it's not available and the license works on another computer so it is valid.

I managed to solve my issue by removing the key from all computers and then doing a manual activation. In that way I could manually handle the license file.

    Thanks for the help!

I am not sure Unity help is very helpful. The same issue came up after a HUB upgrade, wasted time waiting for a form-email. they told me that the issue is the number of seats used - it is not. i eyerolled so hard I hurt a coworker. will try suggestions here

OMG. removing *.ulf and entering the license key manually worked.

This solution worked for me too!

The license file was here: C:\ProgramData\Unity
