Bug Unity Hub & Editors Problems

    I am on Unity Hub Version 3.5.0 (3.5.0) and on a Mac (Intel).

    It surprises me to see that NONE of my editor versions work!!!
    I see hundreds of others have similar issues. How is it possible that Unity Hub cannot handle and understand the installed editors and the one you want to use for your project?

    I have spent TWO DAYS trying to install/reinstall and repeat the process with NO luck!

    I install a version, seems to work. I install a second version, but none of the work. The project that worked before with the previous version now doesn't work anymore. I select a new version, but nothing happens. I try another project and I select a specific version, and it opens with another version.

    I can honestly say that this has been the most problematic system that I work with since years ago. How is it possible to be so buggy? Seriously, nothing in it works as expected.

    And to top all of these, I have changed nothing in my system, it just suddenly doesn't want to understand ANYTHING regarding the correct editor version.

    Is there any advise for me to follow? I have checked multiple posts on the forum, but no solutions.

    Without trying to poke an angry bear. You havent actually covered any of the issues you had, you mentioned nothing works, you mention you select a new version but nothing happens - new version of what, what do you mean nothing happens, what were you expecting? Which version did you install? did you install an LTS one? Depending on how old the project was (eg its not the same major number) all sorts of issues can arise. I have meshes that fall off prefabs if i change major versions, it used to be table legs, now it seems to be wall lights.. pick the first issue you have, and try explain it so that someone who cant see what you see can imagine what you're seeing.

    Similar issue for me using an Intel iMac Late 2015.

    After problems with OS versions and the Unity 22 LTS version, I upgraded the OS to Monterey.

    none of the LTS editors would create a new project 22 or 21 with Unity hub 3.5. I deleted and reinstalled. Still no luck :(

    I share the frustration of the original post.

    Same problem here, project working perfectly for years. Upgrade Unity hub to 3.5 and can no longer open my project or any (even create a new project). Ive tried every fix, deleting library folder + temp folder, port forward, wifi off, readding license (license just gets added again at same activation date), it either gets stuck installing packages or on initial asset database refresh...

    So. Your app/game users tell you your app isnt running. You know there are errors somewhere. You need them to share those before you likely have any ideas as its working for many. Same is true always.

    dont get me wrong i feel for you but not one of you show what the errors are! The only common comment is mac. Get your editor logs and look for errors.

    I've looked in all three log files suggested on that mega thread, nothing seems untoward but please be my guest I will upload them:

    Had to save them as .txt to allow them to be uploaded.

    If I end the task over and over and just keep spam opening it it eventually opens it seems... so annoying and random.
