Unity Hub 2.3.2 won't create/open Unity 2019.x

I've had no problem creating or opening Unity 2018.x using Unity Hub 2.3.2, but I've installed 2019.4 and 2019.2 and in both cases, I'm not able to create a new project nor open an existing one (e.g. tutorial).

For example, I currently have 2019.2.10f installed (so that I can do the Timeline & Cinecamera Rocket blast off tutorial). I've added the project to Unity Hub but when I try opening it, nothing happens.

If I try creating a new project, I get the 'Create a new project' dialog with just 2 templates: 3D, 2D. I select 3D, put in a project name and hit CREATE. Nothing happens. When I next open Unity Hub, it shows the new project but it gives a 'Project path doesn't exist' error because it was never actually created.

Anyone got a solution for this?

    I'm using MacOS Catalina 10.15.2.
I have about 5GB free on disk which is lowish but doesn't seem too low.

    Thanks.

After some hunting around, I tried this from the command line:
    Code (csharp):
    1. /Applications/Unity/Hub/Editor/2019.2.10f1/Unity/Unity.app/Contents/MacOS/Unity -projectPath ~/Code/unity-tutorials/ULS_Cutscenes
This gave me an error (see attached) suggesting that Unity was set up for Windows not Mac. I clicked "Switch target" but it still failed.

I went to Unity Hub and clicked "Add modules" for 2019.2 and added Mac Build Support (IL2CPP).

Now I can launch Unity and open the project from the command line but Unity Hub still won't let me open a project or create a new one. Any ideas?

For anyone reading this, the solution (for 2019.4 at least - I haven't retested on 2019.2) is to free up more disk space before installing. Although the installation required 5-6GB, during installation it uses up a whopping 14-15GB. If you run out of space during install, you don't get to know, as installation appears to complete successfully.

I freed up 25GB and then installed 2019.4. It failed on first open (which took 2-3 minutes for verifying the app), but worked on second open. (Running MacOS Catalina which has more strict vetting of new apps.)

This thread is not about installing Unity Hub. Please start a fresh thread for that as it's a new topic.
