I purchased Unity Pro for $1500 USD which means I can use the product whenever I wish. However earlier today I downgraded my PC to Windows 7 and I downloaded Unity wrote in my activation code and it said it has reached the maximum activations. I have also activated it multiple times when I formatted my Win 8. Is there anything I can do other than pay the full price again or that 600 dollar update/upgrade?

    ,Thank you.

Email support and they will deactivate the license on your old OS so you can activate it again.

You can have a total of 2 activations at the same time.

In the future, whenever you are changing your computer drastically you can manually deactivate it on your machine instead of relying on Unity support. http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/ManagingyourUnity4xLicense.html

The docs do recommend that before making changes to your OS/hardware you return your activation.
