    Hello,
I had been using Unity 2019.x and other 2020.x versions successfully under Ubuntu 20.04.1 until recently. Since then there have been a couple of firmware updates in Ubuntu. Today I am unable to start the Unity Editor as it freezes (including flickering) the screen completely leaving it unresponsive. I have tried almost the whole range of Unity versions available, without success. The Laptop is the newest DELL XPS13. Is there any chance of having a working Unity Editor at this point?

    Output from inxi -Fxz is:

I have the same problem. I've also got the Dell XPS 13, with Ubuntu 20.04. When I start Unity on Intel graphics the screen freezes and I have to hard-power-off the system. When I use my eGPU with a nvidia card + proprietary driver, then Unity works normally.

Unity used to work fine on 18.04 on an older XPS 13 on the Intel card.
