Unity Forums "post" bug

Hi everyone!
I'm really unsure where to post this and this is the "only" section where it seems to fit since there is no topic linked with discussing bugs in the forum.

I have been trying for a week now, to post a reply to a thread I have created and so far, to no success!
When I type my post and click on "post reply", the three bars indicating that there is background activity appear but then nothing happens.

Also, the same happens when I click on the "smiley" icon. It shows the three bars that indicate that the page is loading and the smiley bar never shows up.
I have tested it in different navigators (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer...), made sure that I log out then log back in...
I'm quite desperate as this means I can simply not participate or respond to comments/queries in my own threads!

Press F12, and then in the resulting window, select the "Console" tab.

Copy and paste any errors from that location, please.

The first error is when trying to open the smileys, the second when I try to post...
And the weirdest part is... on this thread it works!

This normally occurs when a secure HTTP request "https" is sent from one domain to another.

Its a little weird that the Unity API is sending an https request from an http url across domains. That might just be part of the issue here, or maybe they intend this and have workarounds for most situations.

Thanks! I tried adding that extension, and now, the error is as follows below...
It also displays a window saying "
The following error occurred
The server responded with an error. The error message is in the JavaScript console."
And when I click on the "Alerts" button, even though I'm logged it, it sends me to the "log in" page...

Ah that makes some sense, given the original errors. I was wondering why the heck trying to add a smiley was searching for a response from "accounts.unity". It seems likely that something in your browser(s) or computer is making it difficult to verify that you are logged in. Possibly the encrypted tokens most websites use for requests are just going missing, or corrupted. I will try to think of alternatives.

OK, so from what I tried so far, it seems there is a problem with the Unity Forums recognising that I am "signed in".

It keeps popping up the window "sign in" when I click on "Alerts" or "Inbox", but if I actually click enough times on the link and get it to display properly when I click on it, then I can finally post messages normally...

EDIT: cool! We arrived to the same conclusion! It's a really strange phenomenon..
Thanks a lot for your help! I hope the Unity devs will be able to figure out where the problem comes from...
