    hello,

so, I'll start by saying I'm a complete noob in Unity.
I've Unity Hub 2.4.5 and install Unity Editor 2020.3.17f1, but when I'm trying to start a new project (3D) I get the following error:
    upload_2021-9-3_14-34-27.png
    so far I've tried:
    1. shortening path and project name
    2. reinstall Unity Hub (after complete uninstalling it)
    3. turn off antivirus and activate as an administrator
    4. move Unity Hub to desktop and create the project in the same folder as the hub.
    5. opening the editor directly (which only direct me back to the hub)
    6. installing other editors (other versions of the 2020.3.x, 2019, 2021) - both via the hub and with direct download - and then locate it to the hub or open it directly.
I get the same error each time.

I'm searching for a solution for over a month now, please I'd appreciate every idea you guys have.

    thanks

    UPDATE

I put both unity hub and editor in the same folder (on desktop). it works but I can't add modules to the editor

I had this problem, and shortening the file path to project folder worked for me. But you really have to shorten it.

Check how much hard drive space you have left in Windows (or your chosen OS), it's quite a large file with all the modules and all that bobbins.

I know Windows tends not to like it when you're low on hard drive space, as it has to download regular updates for the OS and stuff, and they take up space.
