Question Unity editor will disappear after pc restart

Basically the title. So I'm getting into unity and whenever I install the editor and restart my pc the editor disappears and I have to redownload the editor. If I try to open a project before restarting my pc, my project opens like normal untill it craches, giving me the message: "Unity failed to present D3D11 swapchain due to device reset/removed". Not sure if the two problems are related but its been persisting the last few times ive been trying to use unity. Does anyone know how i might be able to fix these problems?
