Unity Editor UI works poorly with pen input & touchscreen

Hi

I have a Microsoft Surface tablet and Unity does not respond well to touch input and pen input. It sometimes works, it sometimes doesn't or simply opens up something else than I click on.

Any plans to fix this?

I'm using Unity2019.4

 

Is this still a problem? I've been shopping for a Surface Pro or Surface Studio Laptop, primarily because all the mouse/trackpad movement in Unity bothers my hands more than a touchscreen would. But obviously it would defeat the purpose if Unity doesn't recognize touch input from the Surface. (Stylus input bothers my hands as much as mouse or trackpad input; I need touch input.) Any news on this?
