    I don't get it.

I didn't do anything, but the Unity Editor suddenly started becoming VERY slow. Like 3 seconds delay slow.

I've tested different projects, and it seems like it only happens when it's a Collab project. I've even tried making a a new Collab project just to test, and it got slow the moment i turned it into a Collab project.

Everything runs smoothly as it should when I press play, I can move around in the scene and all just fine, but press play again (stop the game) and it turns back to being slow.

Same issue here, I've updated my project and opened up the profiler. Collab takes 600ms and it lags the editor. It works just fine on play

omg, I have the exact same problem and was on my way to create my own thread.

For me, the problem started while I was using version 2017.4.2 and I thought maybe updating would help but it didn't.

I didn't notice before but after I read that OP said the problem is only caused with Collab projects, I turned my collab service off and the problem instantly went away.

Any fix for this? I have been using Collab for a long time and this only started happening now.

For now the only temporary solution is to turn off the collab service. I guess you could temporarily bring it back up when you need to update.

Seems like it solved itself over the weekend... Hopefully it wont come back.

Great that I don't have to think more about it though :)
