    CaptureSize.PNG Hello,
I am using the tutorial file "Hat Trick - The catch game".
When I click on the sprite "Sky Sprite", the little window (on the right) shows a little picture of the sky with the text "2048 x 1024 RGB ...",. When I open the sprite Editor, the floating panel shows me a size of "W 4096 H 2048".
If I open the sprite in photoshop, the size is 4096x2048.
So please can you explain me the 2048 x 1024 ???????
    Thanks a lot
    Patrick

Capture1.PNG You are right, thanks a lot, but it is a little strange for me.
The sprite/picture is 4096x2048 (photoshop size).
In the sprite inspector window, you have a "Default" Section with a toggle button "Override for PC, Mac & Linux Standalone" and a pop-up menu "Max Size" with the value 2048.
By default, the toggle button is NOT selected, but the max Size of 2048 is by default validated. Capture2.PNG

When you don't have "Override for PC, Mac & Linux Standalone" ticked, you are seeing the default values used for that sprite's texture. Once you enable that checkbox, you can then change the max size, format, etc. It's just an automated optimization the editor provides to you. If you don't like how the texture looks, maybe because it's too compressed, you can override the default values.

    Hope that helps.
