Bug Unity Editor runs at 5 FPS randomly.

    I am just reporting this to let the devs know that there is something strange going on with the 2020 & HDRP 10.

    Basically, I work with 3 monitors and usually the editor is on 2 of them. The last one usually has Youtube, or the VS depending on what I am doing. I often have Photoshop, Maya and Substance open in the background as well.

    The issue is that when I click play in the editor, it will start to lag severely pushing my GPU to 100% usage (RTX2080)

    Now, in case you think it is a ram issue, I have plenty of ram (maybe 40% used with all the software mentioned above) and never had issues in 2020.1

    Since I moved to 2020.2, I have been having this issue. What is strange is that when I press control alt delete to open task manager, about 10 seconds later, the lag goes away...

    It doesn't happen when the editor is the only thing open.

    It also happens on empty scene.

    It is not severe but really annoying as developing Unity predicates involving other creation tools.

    Can someone look into this?

    Can you check profiler and switch to Editor mode?
