Unity Editor running terribly slow, laggy, glitchy.

    Hi,

    I just installed Unity on my brand new Laptop, but it runs terribly slow and glitchy while everything else (games, blender) runs completely stable.

    Tried killing all useless tasks but that didnt seem to do the trick. I'm running an MSI GT72 2QD Dominator (http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GT72-2QD-Dominator.html#hero-overview).

    Most important specs:

    i7 5700HQ
    gtx970m
    8gb ram

    Any ideas ?

    Reinstalling the Editor did some favorable work for it, the glitchy part (flickering, strange graphics bugs) have disappeared, but still, the editor is running quite slow. The fps (around 60) in my game, are not the reason why it should feel so laggy, also keypresses inside the editor, like clicking into EditBoxes etc. feels laggy.

    Anyone?
