Does anyone have the steps to run the editor with the Quest using the link cable?
I currently attempting, do I need to change from Android to Windows?

I'm assuming you want to connect by link and press play on the editor to playtest instead of having to build every single time.
If so here's what I did on unity 2019.3.

    - Keep build settings on windows to playtest, only change to Android when you want to try it on standalone.
    - Go to Edit -> Project Settings -> XR Plugin Management (this is a new feature on 2019.3 from what I understood, prior versions you have to go to Player -> XR Settings and check the Virtually Reality Supported and add Oculus supported).
    - Install the plugin and then install the Oculus XR Plugin
    - Add the Oculus Loader to both Android and PC windows and check you have the Initialize on Startup checkbox on

Let me know if this worked I hope I haven't forgotten anything.

I could kiss you on the frickin' lips bruv, you solved my problem after all this time of searching. I had all my project settings correct, loaders set up, and integration packages installed. I JUST HAD THE BUILD PLATFORM SET TO ANDROID STILL. I should of known to switch the platform back to PC for running play mode on the editor through the link.

    Thanks for that.
