Unity editor navigation with terrain

    Hey guys,

    I was trying to search why the following is happening, and it's something i've always chalked up to unity being unity, but maybe there's a fix for it i never found :)

    When navigating/designing a terrain, when panning or zooming around, often the camera resets itself to a point in space instead of staying where i was at upon release of mouse click? This makes it pretty infuriating. Am i the only one seeing this over the years or is it a common thing? If it is, why has it never been fixed??

    Strangely enough, that camera problem doesnt really appear that much when I navigate and sculpt a terrain with a wacom tablet?
