I use an XPS15 laptop with a Thunderbolt docking station. Whenever I connect and or disconnect from the dock and start a new instance of the UnityHub (currently using the 2.0) It informs me that the license is invalid for this machine. I've found the work around... Remove the license file and re-register Unity but this is unacceptable. Having to re-register Unity every time I need to take my work home, to a meeting, or an offsite event happens far too often.

I remember in another thread that Unity is using a NIC MAC address as part of its license verification. I'm guessing your dock adds an additional NIC.
