*** UPDATE: Windows deleted Unity files, that it thought were viruses. Reinstalled Unity and works again... until Windows decides to delete them again? :D ***

Unity.exe becomes Not Responding and crashes.

I tried to diagnose and Unity shows an error.

This is getting frustrating. Am I the only one?

Interruptions with the Unity Editor \ Unity Hub Licensing is killing productivity..

  2. I have Windows 10 and my windows doesn't consider any of the current Editors (2019LTS, 2020beta, 2020alpha) virus.
What anti-virus are you using? If you use some 3rd-party software, why don't you just exclude the Unity folders from checks? If you don't download anything there, it's reasonably safe since Unity never distributed computer viruses.

Thanks for confirming your experience! I'm using Malwarebytes. I ended up uninstalling Malwarebytes and reinstalled a fresh editor. It works again.. hopefully it stays that way.
