    Every time I hit play unity freezes,

    From the process debugger it is stuck in a loop but does not seem to be from a C# script. It is probably either editor or plugin code, is there any way to determine the source of this?

    We just upgraded our game from Unity 5.4.2p3 to 5.6.1p1 and are now seeing this every time we try to quit standalone builds of our game. The process appears to be stuck in an infinite loop in FMOD::Thread::callback() that keeps calling into the same disassembly referenced by marcV2g above. Here's the full callstack that I am seeing:

    Recroom_Release.exe!FMOD::OutputWASAPI::feederUpdate(void)
    Recroom_Release.exe!FMOD::OutputWASAPI::feederThreadCallback(void *)
    Recroom_Release.exe!FMOD::Thread::callback(void *)
    Recroom_Release.exe!_endthreadex()
    Recroom_Release.exe!_endthreadex()
    kernel32.dll!BaseThreadInitThunk()
    ntdll.dll!RtlUserThreadStart()

    NOTE: The bold line in the callstack is where the infinite loop is occurring.

    2017.3.0f3, what version of Fmod are you using?

    I think Unity does not use FMOD, I installed in my project and after that the project freezes when I try to debug.

    Did you find any solution? I have same problem. It apperead after one single commit, which is nothing special. Some scirpts, one prefab and 2 metas. We are using 5.6.4p4 but I have tried 2017.1 and it is also freezing. But in my case its not always broken, I would say it is about 40% freezing. Strange thing is that even if i reverse this commit, it still freezes but about 5% of times, i think deleting library and other import files finally helps. It's happening on all computers in company.

    Conditional breakpoints were the problem for me.

    Deactivating them is not enough. If you delete all breakpoints in your breakpoint list everything works fine.
