Bug Unity editor crash while working

When I open the project and work on it, it gives itself an error after a while

 

I'm having the exact same input and it also just started happening within the last couple days

 

Plus one here. Tried 2021.3 and both 2022, crashes on start. The same logs.

I got Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview. What's your system?

 

Same problem for me. Started at the same time. Win 11 Insider as well. Crashes with any project new or existing.

Yep, mine the same.

So, apparently, it's related to the latest Windows 11 build.
I don't think Unity team is going to fix something that it's released yet - it doesn't make much sense.
So our only option is to reinstall the system - we can't switch to another chanel.

 

I am not sure if it is related, but I noticed that editor tends to crash when you hover over it. Maybe it is just a coincidence. I don't think I will be reinstalling anytime soon, but my project was pretty much finished at the time and I needed to perform final build, so I will just use a CL to do it I guess.

 

I'm also on the latest Windows 11 build, so very likely related

 

Good news, Windows let me downgrade to 25158 and here everything is fine so far - no crashes.

 

Can confirm that going back to build 25158 fixes these crashes. It seem that 25163 is a skip.

 

Can confirm this too. 25163 should be skipped.

 

Same problem here. Debating if it's worth resetting my PC to a stable build, or hoping the next insider update fixes things

 

updating to 25174 fixed the issue
