Unity editor 2019 does weird behaviours when dragging or replacing the menus on linux debian

    What desktop environment are you using?
    Unity only works well in environments that support GTK, and is only tested in GNOME, so problems like these sometimes happen on other DEs.

    Try installing mutter
    sudo apt install mutter
    , and running it
    mutter --replace
    , to see if it still happens.

    If it works, you could either set mutter to start up with your XFCE session, or you could switch to GNOME, which uses it as it's default compositor, so you don't have to worry about starting it.
