Unity, download game onto android phone without using the Play store or Unity Editor

Hello, I have a pretty straightforward question. I am just wondering if, aside from building a unity app from the editor onto an android phone, if there is another way to deploy the current build to a device that is not the android / play store.

For example, can you hook up a phone to a computer with a usb and drag and drop the build into a specific directory? Or perhaps host it on an open file sharing site and download it that way?
