Unity does not support building for Linux ARM ?

    ARM based Computers getting very popular (and powerfull) nowadays. The advantages are obvious, they are small, power efficient and affordable. My ARM based server has the specifications to run a Game Servers, Like Rust but there is no support for ARM (yet). When Unity Start Supporting ARM based systems? i Ask Rust Support Team there saying unity does not support building for Linux ARM !

    This topic has come up a number of times. Do a search of the forum and you'll see the conversations about it.

    Long story short, there's no money in it for Unity.

    There is a ton of money in it for Linux embedded systems running on ARM. Like 100k licensing and a per unit hardware install fee. You do get access to their embedded Linux team for the support though..so you are not adrift when running into snags or bugs.

    I gave a more elaborate answer here, but in short: we do in fact support Linux on ARM processors for industrial customers, but because every platform is different, please talk to sales so we can find out how we can best support you.
