Hi - as of mid last week, we cannot download our dev or ad hoc profiled devices to ios. When we attempt to download in safari, we are taken to the detect device page, which shows the prompt saying "This Website is trying to download a configuration profile Do you want to allow" - clicking allow immediately transitions to a dialog saying "Safari could not install a profile due to an unknown error". We have tried with both a new dev, and a new ad hoc profile. This is for an app that has been in development for some time, and on devices that have been able to install previous. One note: recently we had to renew our profiles as the certs associated with them were expiring, but we've done that before and never had such issues. Please advise if anyone has any ideas or if this is a known issue with build service.

also - you can see what a log looks like of a device when it is failing device detection - I couldn't see anything very useful there, but maybe you folks at Unity build will?

Unfortunately that message tends to pop up for pretty much any error. You mentioned that you recently changed profiles. It's it possible that the builds that won't install were built using the old profile? That's definitely one reason I've seen the "unknown error" pop up. If that is the issue there's a "Re-Sign" option that will sign the build with the latest profile.

This issue was caused by a recent change made to the Developer Dashboard. The change has now been rolled back and the issue should no longer be present.

Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.

Broken for us also. My team is reporting various issues with UCB today (in general, we can't install builds)

Based on issues encountered I have talked to the dashboard team and got them to roll back the unified dashboard deploy. This issue was only present when attempting to install an iOS build directly from the build history. The workaround is to instead create and use a share link for installing iOS builds. In addition to the rollback we have a hotfix for this specific issue expected to go out later today.

There was another thread on this subject with the workaround. Unfortunately threads without fixes always wind up with more visibility because of the forum commenting system - I'm going to lock this thread to hopefully reduce the risks of this happening again in future.
