    I attached the crash log here. Basically, my editor crashes whenever I try to open the project. This is the primary error:

    Cannot open lmdb database Library/SourceAssetDB because another process has a lock on it. Will retry.
    (Filename: C:\buildslave\unity\build\Modules/AssetDatabase/Editor/V2/LMDBHelpers.cpp Line: 242)

    Thank you.

    Hi @ahnafnafee,

    Can you try to delete the Library and Temp folders and open Unity again?

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you! This seemed to have solved the issue.

    Thank you @DiegoDePalacio. I have been sitting for the last 2 hours trying to fix this. For anybody else, this fix also applies if you get the following error:

    Assertion failed on expression: 'errors == MDB_SUCCESS || errors == MDB_NOTFOUND' Line 160

    I would recommend against deleted the Library folder. I tried this and lost all heirarchy assets and could not fix, had to restore.

    I got this error when I tried to open the project after reinstalling Windows, and for normal operation I had to make myself the owner of these files.

    Yup me too, my Windows drive failed and had to reinstall W10 then when I went to launch my project it wouldn't start. Removed library and temp folders and it fixed things.
