Unity crashes on opening specific project

Hi,
I worked yesterday on a project and everything worked without issues or errors.
Today, when I open the same project its crashing after a couple of seconds showing the last szene as it was closed.

A can create a new project and its working fine again. It can be reopened too.

Hope you can tell whats about it, thanks for your effort.

Please submit a bug-report following the advice given in this document. Posting crash logs does not lead to a resolution in most cases, unfortunately.

Deleting the library folder from the project has let me open the project again. Found out, that the scene was the problem, since it crashed on opening it. I deleted the asset "lightning box 2" and was able to open it again.

*Update*
Starting Unity again is crashing the scene even without lighting box. Confusing. Seems Unity is bugging with its saving process. I will try reinstall it.

 

I'm having the exact same problem. No matter what project I've created, trying to open it again just results in a crash. I even just went in and created a dummy project, closed Unity, then tried to re-open the project only for it to crash again. I will submit a bug report but would welcome hearing if you found a solution.

 

I am having the exact same problem as CGCowboy. Cannot open ANY projects. Am going to try reinstalling Unity. Very frustrating!
