Unity collab project will not open correctly

Im currently working on a collaborative project with 2 other people at school and I installed unity hub and unity editors on my personal computer so i can access the project from home, but i am having trouble opening the project. I use the "open remote project" option but when the project opens its just empty. (We already have multiple scenes and assets in the actual game project) So im just wondering how to fix this? ive been trying for hours and i just wanna work on my project from home
