I am using Plastic SCM as source control and have a staging branch that, on merge, triggers a new Build in Unity Cloud Build.
    (Auto-Build on true)
However, sometimes it triggers for no reason. f.e. I had 1 merge yesterday (the expected behaviour would be to build once but instead the build got triggered 3 times throughout the day).
How can I stop this behaviour / fix this?

Some good news. We are aware of this issue and actively prioritizing a fix.

Thank you for the fast response.
Is there any Information / Issue Tracker, where I can see the progress / ETA of the problem?

Unfortunately, it is represented by private customer or internal tickets, as opposed to a public fogbugz ticket. You could create your own support ticket and mention that you are aware it is being worked on, but need a point of contact for when it is fixed. Then support can associate it with the internal ticket and update you as it is fixed. I can say that it is our highest priority as its impact could could be more of a problem in the future. So its ETA should be about as fast as you'd expect for a bug fix turnaround.

Wow lol. Random builds have been going on for at least a month, but now are triggering very frequently (sometimes every hour or less).

I'm experiencing this too; new builds being triggered by "Detected Changes" every 20 minutes to two hours. I only typically push a new changeset once a day.

Any update on the progress for us? Random builds are happening more frequently the last few days.

    Hi,

Thank you for following up and mentioning this! A "partial fix" was implemented that was intended to reduce the frequency of this issue. For some users (and in our testing), this seemed to reduce it by (very roughly estimated) about 75%. But if it is increasing in occurrence for you, that is an even bigger problem. This is still considered our highest priority fix. I will post more information when I get more details on the final/full fix.

Meanwhile, in the context of metered billing, we talked to the metered billing and support teams. If you are effected by this issue, please create a support ticket asking to be credited for these builds. You will be covered for this.
