I wonder if anyone had that issue before? our game launch with the title screen and all, but once I try to load a map of our game, the client freeze and crash. Is there a shader or something that isn't compatible with the proprietary drivers for ATI?

I know a couple of games that god rid of that error but unfortunately after contacting them it's seem they fixed it without knowing it.

    thanks!

I'm not aware of anything related to that.
If you submit a bug report with your project attached and as much details as possible of your setup and repro steps we can take a look. I your project is really bug submit the bug report without it and we can reply with some ftp server details for you to upload to.

OK, took another look and there seems to be an issue with the ATI linux drivers on our bug database.
Try disabling AA for your Linux builds as a workaround.

Allright thanks but it didn't fixed the issue since AA was already disabled. But we ran a couple of tests removing all the shaders from our project. The game launch on windows or linux with nvidia drivers (everything is pink but launch). But on ATI drivers it imediatly crash this time. My guess is that it might be possible that a shader isn't compiling and the FGRLX drivers dosen't like that and imediately crash. Is there a way to find which one might not compile?

    thanks!

Do you get any messages in the Player.log? Possibly there'll be some errors reported. Also, what was the bug number you submitted? I couldn't find any case submitted from you in the QA system. If the game still crashes even after you've removed all shaders, I'd assume it was a different problem.

I posted a bug a long time ago (about a year ago) but we never found a solution. The game with the shaders only crashed when we load a map of our game, when we remove all shaders it shut down imediately. That's why i'm pretty sure it's related to something around that. We don't get any error in the player log, the game simply shut down withtout error.

My guess is that one shader dose'nt compile corectly, every other platform don't crash when it happen but on Linux and with that specific driver it does. I've zipped the whole project which is around 1gb, is there somewhere safe I could send it if you need to run some tests?

Well, if it's a bug, please submit the project using the bug reporter. If that fails, or you are not happy sending the project via the bug reporter simply host it somewhere and include the link to it in your bug report. Once you've sent in the bug report, you should get an email with the bug number. Post that here. Also, if you let me know the bug number for the case you submit a long time ago, I'll find out what happened.
