Unity blog page no longer shows images

I just wanted to point out that the Unity blog hasn't shown any images for a few days now. I don't know if it's a general problem or just me for some reason.

Only for about 2 days pictures could be seen in the blog again. Now I don't see any again. I used a different browser and no images are displayed there either. I also tried another device (smartphone). It doesn't work there either. Even with the mobile internet I visited the unity blog and it didn't work either.
In the developer tools, the image tag has this attribute specified
src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7"

 

I can't see any images too.

 

Today I can see pictures again. However, there are still small errors:
1. The active circle areas for the buttons are misaligned and too small.
2. The menu cannot be opened.
3. In addition, no mouseover event works with the other menus such as "Community"

I just noticed that the pictures are still not displayed on the smartphone and all the menus cannot be opened.

 

As of today I can't see any pictures again. What's going on there? If I'm not the only one experiencing this error, then Unity should make it a priority to fix it.

 

Maybe it's a statement about how we all put too much emphasis on visuals and cool images and don't pay enough attention to what is truly important: the marketing drivel Unity uploads to their blog week after week.

EDIT: by the way the images load fine on Safari but not on Chrome.
