    That works quite well.
I challenge someone to beat 6685 cubes.

Easy but I have to set a bit of a lower target FPS ;0)

    @Tiddlesworth, what GPU/CPU?

Tried the test a couple of times, but this is the second highest I got. I couldn't get my first attempt off 6705 again.

    This is me cheating. ;)

6125 on my laptop with all my usual programs open.

When I closed everything but the stuff that came with my laptop, my desktop calendar, Dropbox and Microsoft Security Essentials, I got 6295.

Lowering it to 25 gave me 1000 or so more. Lowering it to 20 gave me 1600 more than that.

5550 then it changed from 30fps target to 25 and started climbing again for a couple hundred more.

Interesting. I just ran it at home and got 9100. My CPU is a fair bit slower than yours (i5 3570k stock) but I have a 2gb GTX 670, so perhaps that's where I make up the numbers.

Regardless, looks like you've got the best score so far... congrats!

    Edit... 2nd best score :p

    3rd lowest so far!

And that was only after closing down iTunes, Chrome, Firefox, Dropbox and half the other crap that was running on my computer.

8450 with settings unchanged and a target of 30.

    i5 2500k (stock)
    AMD HD6950
    8GB 1333Mhz.

EDIT: Not the best use of my time, but with 1920x1080 fullscreen with fantastic quality I got 7850.

This is destined to become a meme! You watch ... see where it shows up. My laptop was: 4140 in the web browser version. 4925 as a stand alone.

Great job! And love to see the project code, so I can run it on iOS :).

    Interesting...

Integrated HD Graphics: 5050 (laptop fans off)
Nvidia GeForce 525M: 5425 (laptop heating and fans running like crazy from the start)

Although I think the webplayer added shadows and fancier antialiasing when I turned the bigger GPU on.
You might want to make sure it does not change the quality settings relative to the GPU model.

Now it would be helpful to have an online list with GPU/CPU/Resolution/Nr.of Boxes to estimate performance on different hardware.

    WEBLINK: Here it is!

Please insert your result - thanks!

    6505 at 1920x1200 / fantastic on a 2.8GHz i7 with a Nvidia 275GTX and 6GB of ram. Not too bad for a 3 year old PC.

I was able to get up to 10,725 at 20 fps. But my computer is pretty beefy:

    - Intel i7-3930K
    - 16 GB of memory
    - Nvidia GTX 560
    - Solid State Drive

So you think it's ok for someone to punt sales for one of their own apps in a developer's gossip forum?
Someone asked for an Android build earlier, in the community spirit I offered to make one for ArowX if he didn't have Android so we could post it here for us developers to benchmark their Android devices. The reply I got from him was a link to buy the app from the Google Play store.

Yes I have a problem with this.

    I have an EP121 with 4GB RAM / i5 HD Intel Graphics (Sandy Bridge 1st Gen), Windows 8 Pro x64, IE10:

So I've the slowest graphics out there running your test barring older Intel GPUs.

I ran the web test and I get between 20 - 25 FPS until you add more cubes at which time the FPS shoots up to over 40 FPS to 'catch up' and quickly settles back down to just above 20 FPS.

It never reached an average FPS of 30 FPS, seemingly because of some power usage and FPS optimization on the part of Intel and it's graphics driver.

I let this run until it stops adding cubes. I'm not sure when it stopped adding new cubes (because I switched tabs away). Somewhere over 600 Cubes and that is when the average FPS dropped below 20. Now there is a bug because I could switch tabs and the new cubes would be added (15 each time I think) when I changed back to the test. So I'm not sure of your stop condition for adding cubes.

Then maybe you should get some help if you have a problem with someone on the Internet you've never met before.

Anyway, this is an awesome benchmark! Good idea.
