How can I change where my assets install from the Unity store?

    The reason:
I have a very small boot drive (C drive) with only 20GB left and just got a new SSD (U drive) 500GB to put Unity into and store/download my assets on that drive.
I know that by default, Unity store assets install to the User folder in (%appdata%), but I want to put the install location to my (U drive) SSD.

Any ideas on how to do this? I saw that it was brought up in very old posts from 2015, but from all that I am still not able to find a solution.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately it's not something you can change in Unity settings, it's an often requested feature, though!

For the moment there's a workaround that you can do by creating a windows symbolic link to 'trick' Unity into looking to another folder. There's a full guide on how to do it here: https://www.garypettie.com/devblog/...-solve-the-unity-asset-store-download-problem

Be sure to back up your folder before attempting it, just in case something goes wrong.
