I have a Unity 4.5.5f1 app that runs great on my developer unlocked Windows Phones. I'm trying to submit it to the Windows Phone store and immediately after submitting for certification I get:

    Status: Package processing failed

    Error: 2002

After searching I've seen that despite what the official documentation says, this is really being caused by long .cs files.

Building a Unity app for WP8 is a two step process. If I have large .cs files on the Unity side, could that still be a problem? The Visual Studio solution that Unity creates (the one that makes the XAP file) does not directly have large .cs files in it.

Any ideas on how to get this Unity app to the WP8 store?

    Hi,

I haven't personally seen this problem myself.. do you think you could file a bug attaching your XAP file that you tried to submit to the store? Or maybe you could try to build an empty scene in your project, so nothing but scripts are included, and try submitting that as "Beta" version (rather than a real release) just to check if it still fails? If that's still the case, we'd like to take a look at it.

I got desperate and made a new Unity project with just a cube displaying. Unity 4.6.2p2 this time (still got Error 2002 with my app using Unity 4.6.2p2). I was able to get it to pass the Submission Processing stage this time and make it to the Signing stage. So this problem lies somewhere with my app specific code. I'll will try submitting just the scripts in an empty project as you suggest.

    Hello,

I have the same strange error when submitting 8.1 app (Unity 5.0.2p2 and 5.0.1p4)
And again empty project pass this phase.

    Any update about your case?
    Did you solve it?

Unfortunately I had to give up on submitting to Windows Phone for now because of this problem. I'm currently working on targeting the Mac Store.
