    Hello,
I was wondering if Unity has come out with a way to receive microphone input yet, and convert it to text so that the users can verbally communicate with the characters. I have invented a programming language for SIRI on the Android that receives microphone input, and has SIRI respond based on what the users say into the microphone, converted it to C#, and it works well with Unity, except I am only working with plugging in text input straight from the keyboard instead of the microphone.

    Thank you for any updates,
    Michael S. Lowe

Maybe create an external app to handle the speech-to-text part, then send simple commands or strings to your game via TCP socket or bluetooth??

This could help to keep the processing overhead lower on your gaming PC by creating an external NUI interface.

I am looking more for something I could directly import into my Unity project.

Have you found a solution for this?
