Unity and bluetooth

    Does unity 3d have any built in bluetooth functionality?

    I can't get any straight answers from the search function on the unity website - all it does is show a whole lot of asset store links. Which suggests that the answer to the above question is no.

    Why does it need to be built into Unity? Isn't that the job of the OS? What are you trying to get working?

    Are there some bluetooth classes with which to pair with other devices and exchange serial data, as with android studio?
