    i dont know, what you should put in Company field, but i have read in FAQ:
    Q: I am a private person, can I get paid?
    A: Yes we can pay you. However we handle private persons a bit differently and there might be some taxes that needs to be deducted from your earnings as a private person. For companies or commercial entities, no taxes are withheld.

    So may be your name ?

    Wait so you tax private persons but not companies? Is there any legal reasoning behind this -- because if this is just a personal decision I have to say I will skip Unity Ads, which I was originally planning on implementing in a few days. Taxing an individual but not a corporation for any other reason other than something legally required is a deal breaker for me.

    My only issue seems to be the 25 ad a day limit. What is up with that?? Also I have noticed I only make money on installs, ad views and clicks mean nothing. Is that correct?

    Hello, I have been using UnityAds in a development build. It was really easy and works well on my galaxyS5, however, after a couple of days, the ads are no longer available. After a couple more days, the ads show up again. What is happening, and how do I fix this so that users may always view ads??

    Here is my report after month of using UnityAds. No comments.
    I wrote unity-nikkolai about low revenue, but didn't get any answer. Sent a letter to Unity Ads support - no result.

    OK, can someone explain this... Why this guy gets 100$ with 100k shown videos and the guy with the game called Bean Boy on the second page with 500k shown videos gets 3000$. Something is not explained.

    There are a lot of variables as far as I am aware. The largest variable I think which applies here is the region in which the campaigns are being shown. Different regions have different payout amounts. ShadowBiz targets mainly Eastern Europe + Russia for his games.

    CAN ANYONE HELP??

    As posted above, we are in development, using Unity Ads. They work great in Unity and on my phone, HOWEVER the ads are very spotty. They work some days, and not others. I am aware an internet connection is required to view the ads, and I have a VERY stable network. Maybe my code is wrong, or I am missing something. Please give me an idea of how to fix this so that advertisements are ALWAYS available. I also live in the USA, so there should be no shortage of ads. Thanks for your time.

    Are you sure you're not getting shorted? Even in the US a single ad provider could be short on ads based on targeting criteria. Consider using multiple ad providers. The Asset Store has some "unified ad" plugins that make it easier to use and prioritize multiple providers.

    I have a restart button and a main menu button. When the user clicks(taps) any of the buttons my ads should show up. So, I made a adscript to call a restart script. But it didn't work. Please help.
    my adscript:

    using UnityEngine;

    using System.Collections;

    using UnityEngine.Advertisements;

    public class adscript : MonoBehaviour {

    public restart res;

    // Use this for initialization
    void Start () {
    Advertisement.Initialize ("*****");

    }

    // Update is called once per frame
    void Update () {

    }
    public void click()
    {

    if (Advertisement.isReady ()) {
    Advertisement.Show ();
    Debug.Log ("adshown");
    }
    else {
    res.cal ();

    }
    res.cal ();
    }
    }

    For those still on the line, trying to decide whether or not to implement these... I pulled my hair out for 3 days, trying to make Amazon Mobile Ads work...

    Then it took me 12 minutes to ad the Unity Ads into my game.... No comparison at all! :D

    I strongly recommend using the package from the assetstore, with your unity project. Instructions here: https://unityads.unity3d.com/help/D...shers/Integration-Guide-for-Unity-Asset-Store

    So I just posted my first App and I played my game about 1 hour to make sure everything worked good without bugs. I found that after about 30 minutes my game stopped running ads. Is there a cap on how many ads are shown to user per day? I live on East coast of the US. Thanks Overall the ads work.

    I rated Unity Ads as decent. It's not perfect for the following reason:

    I just had my first app rejected from the Google Play Store. The stated reason was that I opted-in to the "Designed for Families" category, but Unity Ads were not considered appropriate for the content rating of my app. I know the Unity Ads admin has the genre filtering opt-out, but it's not very clear which ones I need to opt-out of for certain content ratings.

    It would be nice to have a simple option in the admin to only show ads that have a certain rating, such as "E for everyone."

    Please help me understand my revenue!!

    Our app has been up for nearly a month. Here is my graph:

    graph.PNG

    The high spike at the end hit 95 views. Why have I not earned any more revenue? Please explain. Also sometimes the USD on the right reads $3-4. Why does this change? Please either email me at edgedevteam@gmail.com, post a reply here, or contact me via our website: www.edgedevelopers.com Thanks for your time!!!! Any info is nice!!

    The integration itself is great, the web interface is good, I don't know if 1c/view is a good rate because I haven't bothered researching but the bad mark goes to the documentation which is too confusing and unfocused, still contains deprecated information and offers no definite answer to the question: what settings for iTunes submission. The only bad point is the lack of information on what settings the iTunes application should have in regard to IDFA. Assuming it uses IDFA, in all likelihood it does, it does serve ad obviously but what about these settings:
    • Attribute this app installation to a previously served advertisement
    • Attribute an action taken within this app to a previously served advertisement

    There is a 7 day attribution window for campaign views. It's possible to see revenue right shortly after a view, but this is not always the case. This is why Completed and Revenue graphs are not 1-to-1.

    I want to request a "House ads campaign". In other Ads systems, when the pool is empty and can not show more consecutive ads in this moment, you can show your own ads of your games. Of course for free.

    An other request is the time since you make a paid request until you get paid is too much. From the FAQs:

    "Once you have invoiced your earnings from us, it will take 30 days for us to release the funds (upon the receipt of the invoice). Please add few business days for the wire to come through".

    If you can lower that time would be much better.

    Regards.

    I need super help in one thing,
    I have released a unity game without the unity ads plugin. It's name is the easiest game in the world and it is on the iOS app store (not yet). The question is, I want to add unity ads to my published unity game, but I don't know how to. I would really appreciate if any unity specialist answered my question. I also want to know how to add in-app purchases. Thanks!
    Sincerely, LDev77.

    @unity-nikkolai

    I have got question about FAQ (http://unityads.unity3d.com/help/Frequently Asked Questions/faq)

    "A: How much the revenue will be for your game, that naturally depends on many factors - which platform are you on (iOS or Android), from which country your players are from, what kind of placements you do, etc., but most important is the number of players you have."
    It is totaly unclear for me, and probably not only for me. Could you give us more detail information? I mean table with countries with revenue per click, with platforms etc, we want to know this factors what you are talking about.

    "Typically the revenue delivered per 1000 video starts is between 6 .. 12 USD, depending on the country."
    In this topic lots of people showed their revenue and it is often less than 4-5 USD for 1000 video starts. So how can you explain it? In FAQ, there are lies?

    This question is for the Unity Ads guys here (Nikkolai?)

    I know that there is a grace period for obtaining revenue so Unity Ads can verify the quality of my users. When the grace period or evaluation is over, do I receive payment for those users which played/completed videos during that grace period?

    Also, is the revenue data in the “Views and Offers” graph somewhat accurate?

    I am very impressed with how easy they are to integrate and no need for the users to download another IDE. The code was documented and set up in seconds. Good work!

    Yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of how this system works. Even in admob, when you're getting a small number of views you can still see your revenue go up, even if it is by mere pennies.

    My case is kinda like yours. My game doesn't get a lot of downloads so I don't get many views, but after the first week revenue went to $6. Then I had the same number of views for another week. Revenue went up $1.50. 2 weeks have passed. Views have stayed the same, and no revenue at all.

    It seems so random.

    Hello @scbundy ,

    There is nothing random at unity side. Market occurs randomness. Actually its simple, there are CPI(per install) campaigns and CPV(per 1000 view) campaigns.

    Unity Ads not choosing the campaign type, actually game developers are choosing it.
    You can try to start an ad campaign through your admin panel. Which option will you choose? How much money will you spend?

    What i understand from here is ; not all of your views converted to dolars$,If you show 1000 times a CPV campaign sure it will make money, but if you show 1000 times CPI campaign it may turn nothing.

    Regards,

    I voted "non recommended." Here's why: the content controls are terrible. Why would I want to block "Arcade" games? Blocking almost any category would block a title like Temple Run 2, which I would be more than happy to advertise for. What I wouldn't want is a game like Temple Run, but with the PG-13 content of an Indiana Jones movie. The only category is useful to me is "Casino," since I can use that to block gambling ads. What I want to block is games inappropriate for children seven or younger.

    I emailed Unity with a list of ads I'd like to block 10 days ago. I haven't gotten a response yet.

    I don't see how this is workable. If I find an offensive ad, how long do I have to wait? And I don't want to block ads by certain developers - I want to block certain titles - if a certain developer has titles of varying maturity levels, I don't necessarily want to block all of their titles.

    That being said, the plugin is fantastic and easy to use, and I love the high quality ads for high quality titles. They're very appropriate for me, just not so for the kids playing my game. I hope my concerns will be addressed - if it weren't for the filtering problems, I would have no reservations about making Unity Ads the only ad network that I use.

    I guess that makes sense. Trouble is that unless you're getting tens of thousands of video's completed a day, the results appear really random. For us.

    Hello @unity-nikkolai.

    I am getting ecpm of $1.7 for reward ads, in my android game. This seems extremely low, and I keep hoping that some profit is going to show up (after 1 week) but nothing is changing. Could you check if everything is in order?

    Thank you,

    In my case, Im considering UnityAds as a SCAM. I have one single game running UnityAds since 17 june 2015. I'm using rewarded video as only ad in my game. I have today more than 60k video starts and the system is not paying my ANY of that video, only it pays me for the apps downloaded after the video. I have publish a ticket in the support system (request #19095) publishing all proves and I have no reply since 1 week (even if I updated the ticket with more proves).

    If you do some math (and you see my balance) you don't need nothing more to know that UnityAds is not paying me for that videos. And they're not replying my tickets. I know Unity is a trusted company and Im unsure why they act like a SCAM company. May be the product (UnityAds) is new and they have some issues. May be the employees are still getting knowledge to answer. I don't know. But regarding my case, Unity Ads is a SCAM.

    NOTE: I put my ticket date with the hope that some admin retrieve that information, solve my case and get my money.

    @DarkSlash do share with us if UnityAds personnel ever responded to your ticket. Thus far I had also noticed only completed videos are being counted for possible revenue. This make it pointless for any dev to put skippable videos as interim ads (between stages etc) since skipped videos are not counted as completed views.

    I'm going to research a little more on a few other video ads provider, to see which ones consistently pay for video starts rather than completed views. If anyone has a provider to share do let know, so far I had tried Chartboost, Adcolony and this.

    PS: the dashboard / controls / reporting is so bare, I know Unity is new to the Ads scene, but I really hope to see improvements over time, but i havent seen much (if any) changes since 4 months ago.

    I'm encountering situations where ads stop showing during development and testing. When searching, the threads I come across have responses explaining that UnityAds can simply run out of ads to show a client causing a show request to fail (both in test and live environments).

    I don't understand why it is the developer's responsibility to handle UnityAds not having enough ads in rotation to fulfill a request from a client? This is a business issue no?
