Unity Ads and Apple TV

    Will Unity Ads work on Apple TV? I'm assuming yes since Crossy Roads was demoed on stage and Unity Ads is one of their largest forms of revenue. Any insight on this would be appreciated.

    We are looking into it. It will not be supported in the immediate future but we are definitely interested. I'm sorry for giving such vague answer but things are still in very early stages and at this point it's hard to say how things will turn out.

    I see there is now a beta release for Apple TV. Any word yet on Unity Ads for Apple TV?

    @Aliquidek, nothing new to report. We're still evaluating the tvOS market for ads.

    @unity-nikkolai If we have shared code and build to tvOS, will the ads API (used for iPhone and Android/Google) not load? Just want to make sure we don't need to do anything special for tvOS, such as branch our build out specifically for tvOS.

    Of course not, unity is not so fast anymore with new features now that they are on subscription, money coming in anyway... Sorry sounds negative, but yeah, I'm disappointed.

    I'm gonna take a guess and say never. Applovin supported tvOS video ads for about a year and pulled it, when I gave it a go, all I saw was one company showing a Yoga advert on the system. No demand. My advice is make a game that you can charge for, or just use the Apple TV version to send players to your phone version. Maybe make it a special level or cut down version that if they play they get a bonus item on the phone version next time they play that.

    Perhaps its a good thing, we don't really want to watch ads anyway.
    If only apple had a way to Link to Apple TV apps online

    How many players are in Apple TV, Android TV?
    I forgot a very good url where we can see ratios about android store, apple store, windows store, etc... and is anyone to get between apple tv o android tv?
