Unity 5 Standard Asset MobileSingleStickControl Now No Longer Responds

    Right,

    So I was going to use the MobileSingleStickControl for the 2D game I'm making. It worked fine to start, but problems were faced with moving my character. So, after tweaking my Player.cs script, and going back to the Unity Editor to hit "Play" the control has stopped working. Nothing has changed in any of its scripts, nothing changed with the Z order, sorting layers haven't changed, it just stopped working. I downloaded and reinstalled Unity, and still, nothing. I'm at a loss for words for how this could have happened. The Mobile Input controller is enabled, player settings set to android, tried using the joystick on the device, still didn't work. It just confuses me how one minute it worked fine, it was moving when I clicked on it and moved it with the mouse in the editor window, and then I change/remove something from my script that has relation to any of the joystick scripts (yet) and it stops working, will not move, no matter how hard I try.

    Never mind, my bad, for some reason I didn't notice the EventSystem was missing. Thought it was automatically added when dragging in the MobileSingleStickControl prefab.

    Not sure how to delete thread... :D

    I have event system added and all that you have explained, but my joystick still doesn't move :(
