So yesterday when I downloaded Unity 5 it was all black and dark themed. Now it is all white and I don't like it. Also when I try to load the example project this is all that comes up.
I would like it to be dark like it was yesterday, I tried hitting the restore to factory settings under the layout tab. Nothing. I reinstalled, nothing.
I would like this all to work I have no idea what happened.. The only thing that happened between now and last time I used it was me turning my pc off and on.

The dark theam is reserved for the Professional Edition / License.
If you have the Professional Edition / License you can go under Settings -> General -> Editor skin and the select the professinal one.

    Theres my problem I guess..
That doesn't explain why I can't load projects though?
Is that also a feature of pro?

Heh heh... If you needed pro to open a project, that would be a HUGE bug! :p

As for why it appears to not open... that I think is because Unity doesn't open the first scene by default, ti loads in a new one to fiddle with. (If you opened the project previously though, whatever scene was open should come up, unless something else was opened during that time!) In that case, just look through the folders for some scene files.

On second thought though, a closer look reveals that the scene folder seems to be empty; try re-downloading the example project and see what happens. :)

I have 3 project files none of them load on start up, and one of them is the Unity Survival Shooter project so I'd assume their file isn't emtpy. I checked the folder and it had all the stuff in it. Would you like me to provide a video of what happens when I launch a project? Or a gif or something?

Looks like you are mixing up scene ans projects.
A project contains all assets and scenes, but on stat unity will try to load the scene with was last opend.
If no scene with that name is found unity will open a empty scene and you have to open the scene yoursef.

If you fail to shut down unity cleanly manually, it will open an empty scene. Simply find the scene you saved and load that within unity.
