Hi, I'm trying to make a mobile game that is suppose to look like a board game, and you are laying outside, on a sunny day...

But the grass and tree shadows aren't showing! The video pretty much says it all.

    Please watch before you reply!
    Thanks!

EDIT: Whenever I place a particle system in the scene, the shadows appear, but not the grass. Restarting Unity also doesn't work. PLEASE HELP!

I ended up just getting the Sunshine plugin here as a shadow replacement and after a little setup everything worked for me in Unity. It's not the cheapest or native solution, but it works.

Did you replace the terrain with a simple flat plane and retest?

Just to identify which surface is failing...

    Indeed I saw that.

What happens if you replace that with a flat plane.

Is the terrain broken? is all shadowing from that object broken? ( In know it isn't, I did read your post, and watch the vid) does a replacement terrain material fix this maybe. is only terrain grass and terrain tree placement affected, do mesh ones work.

I'm spit-balling, they are tests that help people help you
