    Hi guys,

Unity 5 is running very slow on Windows 10, i7 2630QM, NVIDIA 540M GPU, 8 gigs of ram and Samsung SSD.

It's freezing for like 10 seconds, works for 5 tot 20 seconds, then freezes again for a couple of seconds.

Fully unresponsive when frozen, even the top menu doesn't respond.

Not sure what's wrong or how I could look for a solution.

    Any help is appreciated.

Windows 10 is not out on a full release and its not official supported by unity.
So there could be some problem with the new windows ipa that need to be fixed if Windows 10 is out.

I understand that, and I'm aware it might be because of that. However, maybe someone had an idea about fixing it or finding out the cause.

Although I know there's a fair chance it's a problem that can only be fixed by the Unity developers and it's likely (and wise) that they won't do that for Windows 10 until it has been released.

Update: it looks like it's not Windows 10, on my other Win 10 machine it works fine. Hmpf.

Does the other machine have the same spec identically - or different, useful info to know.
