Has Unity 5 Beta become available to preorder customers yet?
I've preordered Unity 5, but I have not gained a Beta access. What do I need to do to gain beta access?

    No.

Wait until you get an announcement.

Eric... kind of harsh, not very helpful. I think it's kind of a valid question at this point, considering the original ETA at Unite 2014 was 4-8 weeks, which has come and gone. Even more so considering they claimed they were going to be "more transparent" and keep the community in the loop (so far that doesn't seem like the case). Would love to hear what's going on with this as well.

At this point I have no idea why they haven't released the beta to preorder customers; there is a leaked version of the 5.0 beta available. It's buggy, but I think that's to be expected of a beta. It's not any more buggy than the 4.6 open beta was when they released that. I shouldn't have to use a leaked version of something I paid thousands of dollars to preorder and supposedly gain beta access to.

Tons of people are waiting on the news here. Many people would benefit from the beta, even in it's current slightly buggy state.

Might be harsh, but is the truth at this time. We'll share information when we have it. Pre-order customers will be the first to get access to the beta.

Sorry, I was going for "concise", not "harsh". ;) My point, which I failed to convey, is that nobody has to do anything to get access; you'll be informed when it's available.

If you have a key contact your sales rep and ask if you can be added to the beta group. If they do you'll get the invite and then have to verify your key.
