Hi all. Hoping someone can help with a quick question.

I work in IT Support and we have recently upgraded our users to the new secure editions of Unity, detailed in the following link: https://unity3d.com/security. Since the upgrade one member of staff commented that she can no longer perform Linux builds on Unity, because she needs a Linux Support pack to be able to do so. She has been upgraded to 5.6.3p1 from 5.6.0f3.

I can see from https://unity3d.com/unity/whats-new/unity-5.6.0 that the Linux Target Support download is for the version 5.6.0f3. Will this support pack work with version 5.6.3p1 and is it safe to use this pack, as per the security bulletin?

I have already contacted Unity Support, who passed me to this forum for assistance.

Is this question about Linux target support, or the preview Linux edition of Unity itself?
The appropriate target support package is available for every release of Unity, and can be selected from the download assistant.
