    Hello. I use older Spine plugin, Unity 5.4b21, Unity Cloud Build and have some errors while building game for iPhone and android

    Log text:

    Pls help me to fix it:)

    Please use the in-Unity bug reporting tool. We can't track reports made via the forums.

    Have found a very frustrating bug.

    Recently opened and upgraded my project to Unity 5.3.5. It was made in 5.4.0b17 but now the game doesn't run. It crashes immediately. I tried to Reimport All, but then Unity crashes.
    Then I discovered none of the prefabs' variables (such as GameObjects, sounds and about 75% of every script) are placed.

    What do I do? Do I have to abandon my project I was going to use commercial purposes? Thanks Unity. :mad:

    I don't want to sound insensitive but that's why it's labeled as beta. Also by going from 5.4 to 5.3.5, you were going backwards. Sometimes it works but not always.
    I'd suggest sticking with 5.4 on that one if there isn't a bug that you need fixed on 5.4

    We officially do not support downgrading a project (i.e. taking a project in a newer version of Unity and opening it in an older version). This is why we prompt you to make a backup of the project before upgrading it.

    Okay, I will take the following consideration:
    I just wait until 5.4 is actually released.

    EDIT: But what if this keeps happening in the full release? Kinda worried about that. :oops:

    Oh my... What have you done to the lightning in beta 21? This is gorgeous!

    :D

    If you have seen me with this project before, you should know that there was absolutely no lightning and HDR working properly.
    I think they actually fixed it - Thank you Unity! :p

    all this is a pretty bad joke.
    finding and describing a bug will give me the possibility to win a 100$ voucher for the asset store?
    what do you think do i charge per hour?
    this is pretty much insane.
    i do not need any voucher. what i need is en engineer talking to me.

    I think Unity should give money to people who find PERFORMANCE issues and bugs.
    Its like fixing a car, but once its fixed it works, but how fast the engine is/ tire thread and much else is another question

    You forgot Manual tester, not automation script wizard...
    As real world scenarios automation cannot pickup all time.
    Cannot pickup documentation errors
    Cannot pickup graphic issues
    You need a tester who loves Unity that they passion to make every little thing nice..

    @winxalex: Are you filing these reports using the Unity Bug Reporter tool as well? We cannot track reports made via the forum.

    Could you please let us know what we need to do to get a version of UnityInterface.dll. As the version we download from the net is not getting referenced in our project.

    Could you please let us know what we need to do to get a version of UnityInterface.dll. As the version we download from the net is not getting referenced in our project.

    We are facing a small problem with loading unityInterface.dll into our visual studio solution.

    After our initial research on google and we figured out it’s a known error. Could you please advise a workaround to this.


    We are compiling a few C# libraries in Visual Studio 2015.


    It is actually a Unity project and can be run from Unity only.


    When we run the project from within Mono Editor , it throws and error while calling the ‘UnityInterface.dll’.


    We are attaching a screen shot of the same. The object which needs to be initialized using UnityInterface.dll is showing as null in the GUIupdate function.


    This is the piece of code which according to me seems to be the problem.
